Equipping
the Churches
Church
Outreach
In
2007 Friends of the Carpenter hosted some informational
church meetings – to encourage and promote involvement
and awareness of the ministry and our activities.

Mission
Projects
Several
churches were involved with Friends of the Carpenter
in Mission Outreach projects. First Presbyterian Church
brought 20 High School Youth and leaders to the Friendship
Center
for a special activity
for their observance of 30 Hour Famine, on Sat. February
24 th . We watched a movie, cleaned the facility and
even learned how to scroll saw.
On
Sat. October 27 th , Salmon
Creek
United
Methodist
Church
brought a small group,
led by Pastor Mark Randall, to the Friendship
Center
to plant tulip bulbs
in the Center’s planter boxes.

Liaisons
Our
Church Liaisons continue to be our link between the
church community and Friends of the Carpenter. They
help promote the ministry in their congregation by
keeping the brochures and newsletters current, by
publicizing our events and by helping to sell auction
dinner tickets and concert tickets. We are thankful
for our volunteers who help us to link with their
communities of faith.
Product
displays at Churches
Volunteers
from several churches have taken it upon themselves
to set up a product display monthly in their church
after and between worship services. It is our policy
that product is offered free of charge, without putting
prices on the product. We accept whatever donation
is offered for them. Participating churches &
volunteers are:
